Overview

Occasionally you may need a new solicitation that is very similar to a past solicitation. In the eMaryland Marketplace Advantage (eMMA), you can duplicate a solicitation rather than create a new one from scratch. This Quick Reference Guide (QRG) shows you how to duplicate an existing solicitation.

NOTE: You cannot duplicate a "Cancelled" solicitation.

Prerequisites

You will need the BPM number, name, or some other information about the solicitation that you wish to duplicate in order to search for it in eMMA.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Access eMMA at https://emma.maryland.gov and log in with your credentials.

NOTE: Depending on your agency, you may only need to click the State SSO Login (Secure Auth) button or the MDOT SSO Login (MSAzure) button and log in with your credentials.

  2. Click Sourcing tab at top and Browse Sourcing from the drop-down menu.
The Sourcing tab and the Browse Sourcing Projects in the drop-down menu.
  3. Use the Search fields and filters to find the solicitation that you would like to duplicate. Once you have located it, click the More Options icon.

  4. Select Duplicate Project from the drop-down menu.
  5. Indicate the items to copy from the original solicitation, then click the Copy and close button.

  6. Click the Continue button in the prompt.
The Continue button in the popup window.

The screen will show the new solicitation (may take a moment to show).
